I'm Afraid Of Rabies

So tonight my boyfriend and I went out and got McDonald's because I just couldn't take not eating it any longer. My stomach is killing me. After we ate we were sitting in his car on our street when we saw my friend's mom and brother driving around the street. Then we saw a dog. Long story short we took the dog to my boyfriend's house and it licked us a lot. I have a cut on my hand and now I am terrified I'm going to get rabies because I'm an anxious person.

I called Telehealth and I'm waiting for a nurse to call me back and tell me what to do.

What if I get rabies? I'll die. That's scary.

  1. Natalie, Is this cut on your hand gaping, oozing blood and as recent as twelve hours old, ;something any thinking human would likely put a bandage on?
Even if your answer happens to be -YES- do you realize how difficult is is to get rabies?
Ask your self-how many people do you know ever to have died from rabies..I bet a BIG Zero. How many people/acquaintances have even had to get the post exposure vaccines in your memory ? Again--NONE? Trust me the fear of rabies is so over blown. The fact of the matter is this dog would have to be shedding the virus, acting neurologically unsound and odds are it would not be licking you in fondness. The saliva would have to enter through your compromised skin surface and almost immediately find it's way into your system. Did you by any chance wash your cut area after this encounter? Educate yourself about rabies and reconsider how dangerous it likely is to be sitting in your car and see your friend's mom & brother and the possibility they could be drunk or simply careless and run into your car and now be facing vehicular homicide. The chances of that happening are far more likely. So is dying from bee strings or lightnening strikes; stop being afraid and educate yourself.

  2. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
